Barcelona is one of the cities in Spain that attracts a large number of visitors every year. Near the city is Tibidabo, known for being the highest peak in the entire Collserola mountain range and offering the best panoramic views of Barcelona. This May, an attraction in its amusement park has been announced, shaped like a magic wand and providing a mix of adrenaline and the beauty of the city.

About the attraction
This new attraction at Tibidabo has been named by the Barcelona Municipal Services workers as Merlí because of its magic wand shape and in reference to the well-known wizard. Its 52 meters, combined with the great height of this mountain, will allow anyone who rides it to enjoy 360-degree views at approximately 500 meters above sea level. Merlí can accommodate 24 people per ride.

What to see at Tibidabo in Barcelona
Tibidabo has numerous points of tourist interest. Merlí is located in the Tibidabo Amusement Park, opened in 1905 and built parallel to the mountain’s urban development project that gives it its name. Among its most prominent attractions are the Muntanya Russa, the Tibidabo Express, and La Mina d’Or. Beyond that, you can also visit the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, a neo-Gothic church visible from any point in Barcelona. Additionally, a visit to the Collserola Tower is also interesting, a telecommunications tower built for the 1992 Olympic Games.

How to get to Tibidabo
To reach Tibidabo, you can take the free shuttle bus T2C from Avenida Tibidabo. This bus takes you to the base of the tourist funicular, where you must board to reach the top of the mountain.
