Torremolinosin (Málagan) ’Paratiisin alkuperä’ promootiotaan Bilbaon matkailumessuilla Expovacaciones


BILBAO, 11 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The city of Torremolinos in Malaga is currently participating in Expovacaciones at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), where members of the Tourism Delegation are providing information about the diverse offerings of the municipality to both professionals attending the fair and the general public.
At the Costa del Sol Tourism stand, there is digital support to showcase the municipality’s tourism website and blog, where Torremolinos is promoted through regular publications related to all activities taking place in the area, as well as those related to the municipal heritage and tourism offerings. Both platforms feature an updated schedule of sports and events.
During the fair, taking place from May 10 to 12, social media channels are also being promoted, and direct interviews, previously scheduled, are being conducted with professional contacts to provide detailed information about Torremolinos as ’The Origin of Paradise’.
The online support includes digital routes for users to view both before and after arriving at their destination, as well as virtual tours of the most prominent sites in Torremolinos with audio guides available in four languages: Spanish, English, German, and French. Additionally, all audio guides are available in sign language for accessibility.
Brochures such as ’Torremolinos: A Paradise to Discover’, ’The Sports Village of Torremolinos’, and ’Torremolinos: A Paradise for Sports’ are also available for digital consultation and download on the Torremolinos Tourism website.
Expovacaciones ’Experience and Taste’ has introduced a new concept of traveling and choosing holiday destinations in this edition. Sight, taste, and smell are the main senses used in the program of activities being carried out at the exhibition, which expects to welcome around 20,000 visitors.
In this sense, Torremolinos also presents its wide gastronomic offerings at the fair, with ’espetos’ (grilled sardines on a stick) and fried fish leading the way as one of the main attractions that have made it a leading tourist destination.
