The article is relevant as it provides information about tourist routes and events in Orihuela for the month of June. Here is a translated and edited version suitable for a travel website:

In Orihuela, the tourist routes for the month of June have been announced. One of the highlights includes the celebration of World Public Knitting Day, as well as workshops where visitors can make sunscreens, and routes about dragon legends and local special days.

Among the new activities in June is an event on June 8th at Plaza del Carmen, in collaboration with the Orihuela association ”Entre Lazadas Tejedoras Solidarias”. The audience will actively participate in this event, where they can knit live with the association and enjoy various surprises in honor of World Public Knitting Day.

Continuing with the program of innovative activities, on Sunday, June 9th at 10:30 am, there will be a workshop for making sunscreen at MUDIC (Museo Didáctico e Interactivo de Ciencias). Additionally, on Saturday, June 29th, there will be a dramatized route ”Orihuela, La Reconquista” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Moors and Christians in Orihuela’s reconquest festivities.

The dramatized routes continue, with the route ”The Legend of the Dragon” taking place for the first time on Saturday, June 22nd. On June 15th, there will be ”The Troubadour and the Stories of His Home” in the streets of Orihuela’s historic center, where children can sing, play, and interact with the characters.

This month also features the route ”Summer Solstice” on Friday, June 21st, starting at Plaza del Carmen at 7:00 pm. This unique phenomenon occurs once a year at the parish church of Santiago Apóstol.

On Saturday, June 1st, the successful route ”Discover the Rabaloche Area” will be repeated, aiming to enhance the monumental complex in this area. Visits include the Santiago church, the Nuestra Señora de Monserrate sanctuary, the reconquest museum, and historical sites like Plaza de Capuchinos and the Embergoñes tower.

Poet Miguel Hernández will be the main focus on Sunday, June 2nd, with a route that intertwines his figure with the Palmeral. Poems related to the orchard and palm grove will be recited, highlighting Miguel Hernández’s connection to nature in his early years as a poet.

In June, the solidarity action on tourist routes continues, this time in support of ASOKA. Participants are invited to donate products for the benefit of the Orihuela animal shelter.
