Benalmádenan näyttelykeskus tarjoaa maalaustyöpajoja fluoresoivalla ja ultraviolettivalolla
MÁLAGA, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Exhibition Center of Benalmádena (Málaga) offers free activities to promote a passion for art, aimed at all audiences and accompanying the already open exhibitions of ’Betty, by Grijalba’, ’Don Fermín. A contemporary legend’ and ’Love, Humor, and Heartbreak by Omar Jannan’ that can be visited until the end of June.
Among the cultural and educational events, the Department of Culture led by Jésica Trujillo has planned for this Saturday, May 4, the first session of the ’Art in the Dark’ workshop, where participants, through fluorescent painting and ultraviolet light, can unleash their imagination enjoying creating and taking home their own artwork.
This innovative workshop, led by El Retorno de Lilith, specialists in proposals related to fostering creativity and the use of art as therapy, offers two sessions, aimed at all audiences from eight years old.
The available dates to participate in this workshop are both this Saturday, May 4, and Saturday, June 15, both from 11:00 to 13:00 hours.
Regarding the exhibition ’Don Fermín. A contemporary legend’, composed of about twenty original illustrations that the artist Manuel Marsol exhibited at the Bologna Book Fair after winning the prestigious International Illustration Award, two workshops are planned to bring art and literature closer to the public.
Thus, workshops have been planned for all audiences, from eight years old, but also to spend a day with the family and for the adult public, called ”Let’s play with Art! The legend of a medieval knight”, developed by the association BePop, specialists in the philosophical approach to art.
Through games and dialogues, different classic Spanish artists are explored, ending the session with the creation of a personal illustration that solves the knight’s enigma.
This educational workshop is offered on Saturdays, May 11 and 18, and June 1, from 11:00 to 13:00 hours. In addition, creative writing workshops in English taught by specialists Janet Floyer and Amy Young are offered again, this time inspired by Manuel Marsol’s illustrations, which will be held in four sessions on Wednesdays, May 15, 22, and 29, and June 19, all in the afternoon from 17:00 to 19:00 hours.
All these activities are free and require prior registration via email at the Exhibition Center: ce@benalmadena.es.
