MÁLAGA, 12. kesäkuuta (EUROPA PRESS) –
Andalusian Forest Fire Extinguishing Service, Plan Infoca, has declared extinguished at 21.30 on Wednesday the fire declared in a natural area of the town of Guaro in Malaga due to a fire of two vehicles on Tuesday afternoon, as there is no possibility of the fire rekindling.
According to Infoca in its social networks, consulted by Europa Press, the fire broke out after 19.30 on Tuesday and aerial and ground resources were deployed to prevent the riverbank of the Grande River from being affected, where the flames arrived around 22.00.
Nine groups of forest firefighters, two reinforcement brigades, an operations technician, an environmental agent, and a medical unit with three fire trucks have worked in the area during the night, continuing to deal with the flames until they were extinguished. Previously, a super puma helicopter and personnel from the Provincial Fire Consortium of Malaga had intervened.
