Construction of a new section of the coastal path in the Benamara area of Estepona has officially commenced, aiming to enhance the beachfront promenades in the region. The path will link the promenades in El Saladillo and the eastern area near the Dos Hermanas urbanization.
The project involves the development of a 839-meter long concrete pedestrian path, three meters wide, suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists. The estimated completion time for this section is six months, contributing to the overall progress of Estepona’s coastal path project. Currently, approximately 95% of the planned route has been finished, with over 21 kilometers of coastal corridor already constructed by the Town Hall.
As the construction advances, Estepona’s coastal path project continues to shape the area, providing a sustainable and accessible route for locals and tourists alike. The Town Hall anticipates the final sections to be completed by the end of the year, further enhancing the appeal of the sunny coast for visitors seeking outdoor activities and scenic walks.
