The 2024 polo season in San Roque has officially begun at the Ayala Polo Club, offering 10 tournaments from May to September. This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the club has organized these tournaments, with the highlight being the 53rd International Polo Tournament taking place in July and August.

San Roque’s mayor, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, expressed his gratitude to Ayala Polo Club for their dedication over the past four years. He hopes for the continued success of quality polo in the municipality of San Roque.

Antonio Alés, the general manager of Ayala Polo, extended his thanks to the Town Hall of San Roque, Andalucia Tourism, and the Provincial Council for their support in making polo a significant economic driver for the region. He also acknowledged the sponsoring companies for their contributions and welcomed everyone to experience the world of polo, with free admission to all matches.

The International Polo Tournament, now in its 53rd year, will be the highlight of the season in San Roque. Scheduled from July 22 to August 31, the tournament will attract the best players and teams from around the world to compete on Europe’s finest polo fields in Sotogrande. In addition to thrilling matches, the event will feature a pavilion with a shopping area, outdoor market, children’s activities, and food trucks.
