The Marbella Half Marathon, which is set to take place on Sunday, September 29, along the coastal path, is gearing up to be a fantastic event with over 450 registered runners already. The event will also feature a 5-kilometer charity race for the second consecutive year, aiming to surpass a thousand participants.
Lisandro Vieytes, the councillor for the event, highlighted the significance of the half marathon in the sports calendar, marking the beginning of the season for such races. Additionally, there will be a solidarity 5K race held one hour before the main event, with a registration fee of €15, all proceeds going towards the Building The Future Association’s work in Uganda.
José Carlos León, the president of the Building The Future Association and CEO of Nvoga, expressed his gratitude to the City Council for their support and emphasized the importance of the association’s initiatives in bringing happiness to children.
